Disaster Resource Partnership Indonesia held the second Working Group Meeting yang kedua. This meeting was held on Friday, 25 May 2012 3-6 pm in PT. Total Bangun Persada, Tbk. Jl. S. Parman, South Jakarta.

This meeting was attended by 18 people represented by PT. Total Bangun Persada, Kemenkokesra, PT. Amec Berca Indonesia, PT. Balfour Beatty Sakti Indonesia, PT. PP Persero, PT. Wijaya Karya, HFI, BPBD DKI Jakarta, NZAid and Secretariat of DRP itself.

This meeting was opened by Willy Wiyatno from PT. Amec Berca Indonesia as Chair Person Working Group, and welcomed by Janti Komadjaja and Bambang Widjaya from PT. Total Bangun Persada as host.

Furthermore, there were lesson learn from PT. Wijaya Karya and PT. PP Persero in implementing disaster rehabilitation program in Aceh and other disaster locations. There were also information about Open Source Participatory Map from BPBD DKI Jakarta, and sharing about Learning Session with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, HFI, MDMC while in Yogyakarta, 23-24 Mei 2012.

This meeting also discussed strategic decisions, such as:
1 Twitter @DRPIndonesia1.
2 Input to DRP Indonesia’s logo that has been made.
3 Will make workplan and budget/cost plan for DRP Indonesia.
4 For development of new member, it will need to expand to eastern Indonesia such as Surabaya and Makassar, whereas there are branch offices of WIKA, PP, and local construction companies.
5 Draft SOP will be discussion material for the next meeting.
6 Participants agreed to fee as commitment joining in DRP Working Group.
7 Will make mailing list for DRP Indonesia as communication media.

The other information are:
1 There will be AOB Training in India 2-8 July 2012 and Engineering in Emergencies Training by RedR in India for 7 days.
2 Will be involving DRP Working Group 3-4 persons when Victor Rembeth has a meeting with BNPB, thus DRP Indonesia will be more recognized by BNPB.
3 Next meeting will be held in BPBD DKI Jakarta’s office where there will be discussing accountability in disaster management, SOP, etc.
4 Continuing the meeting HFI with Airbus EADS ago, then for the next Airbus will be facilitated to have a meeting with DRP Working Group.
